• Able to communicate the value of data science & engineering in achieving clients’ strategic goals
• Can produce data engineering and analytical solutions designed to meet our clients’ specific constraints
• Well versed in usage, benefits and disadvantages of a wide range of data engineering and analytical products
• Can produce and defend a business case for investment in data science & engineering
• ·Able to design and manage analytical solution projects

Technical Abilities

• Proven capability in Data Management generally and in particular managing data quality, data profiling, data pipelines, change data capture
• Proven capability with the major cloud platforms
• Proven capability in a wide range of analytical methods including a range of neural network types, clustering, distribution analysis, signal and image processing, optimization, constraints, regression, genetic algorithms

Technologies, frameworks and packages

• Proven capability and has built solutions within the major cloud platforms
• Proven capability with major SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, Cassandra, HBase
• Proven capability in a range of languages, including R, SQL, Python, JavaScript, Java, C
• Capable with multiple web frameworks including node, Django, spark, Hadoop, Angular, React, Vue, Bootstrap
• Able to work with important libraries including numpy, pandas, matplotlib, scikit
• Able to work with common ETL and ELT tools including Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, SSIS
• Understands and is able to use containerization and virtualization tools
• Understands and is able to use devops tools

Roles

We hire data engineers and scientists in a range of ranks, with each rank covering incrementally more of the capabilities listed above

Analyst Engineer

• Typically 1-2 years of experience
• Competent in one or more of the capabilities in each of the sections above

Consultant Analyst Engineer

• Typically 2-4 years+ experience
• Competent in several of the capabilities in each of the sections above

Consultant Engineer

• Typically 5 years+ experience
• Competent in several of the capabilities in each of the sections above and mastery of at least one
