Job Description

Oakdoor is seeking a US Sales Manager to serve as the organization’s representative and activator of Federal sales opportunities for their Data Diode and Cross domain solutions. 

We’re looking for an exceptional sales candidate who will be responsible for driving net new sales, leveraging internal leads and working with the internal market leads from within the wider PA organisation, being able to qualify and develop new clients and manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception through to successful project outcome. 

Qualifications

Objectives of this Role: 

  • Develop and close a pipeline of opportunities in the Government and Defence sector. 

  • Engage with customers and prime contractors to develop new opportunities. 

  • Sell the offerings by developing relationships with decision makers and individuals to drive new business. Assist the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, aligning these to Oakdoor solutions, negotiating commercials and closing the deal. 

  • Represent Oakdoor in regional marketing activities – Events etc. 

  • Creating focused account plans to nurture and develop opportunities to drive revenue targets. 

  • Engage effectively with other areas of the business: Product, Operations and Marketing to create strong virtual team/resources to maximize sales. 

  • Research, develop and manage sales campaigns into target markets. 

  • Actively build a strong network of contacts within the customer and partner ecosystem and coordinate marketing efforts to end users and prospects. 

  • Achieve assigned Sales Personal Quota. 

Experience 

  • Sales experience in the Federal Marketplace 

  • Proven experience selling cyber-security solutions 

  • Strong achievement in exceeding quota and consistent over performance in New Business sales as an individual contributor 

  • Successful experience of building relationships 

  • Previous experience working with systems integrators 

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Ability to effectively interact with senior internal and external personnel 

  • Self-starter with desire and motivation to advance in challenging business environment 

 

Additional Requirements 

  • Minimum of Secret Clearance
