Job Description

Our Complex Systems team works with organisations to help them simplify complexity and better understand, manage and exploit interdependencies. As the world becomes more complex, dynamic and interconnected, we help our clients to deliver change at the scale and pace required for them to remain competitive.

As a junior consultant at PA, you will also have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across different industries including Health and Life Sciences, Transport, Defence and Security, Public Services, and Energy and Utilities, offering a rare opportunity to build unrivalled expertise and experience. 

We are looking for candidates with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • A proven record (2+ years minimum) thinking creatively and solving complex problems for organisations within one or more industries such as Defence and Security, Transport, Energy and Utilities, Public Services, and Health and Life Sciences
  • Prior experience of stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and management
  • Prior experience of eliciting, analysing, and modelling requirements
  • Prior experience of developing practical and ingenious solutions and delivering change across organisations
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
  • A drive for personal and professional progression
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed

To rise to the challenges of this Consultant role, you’ll need a strong track record of delivering solutions and thinking creatively to solve complex problems. Experience in systems definition and design, modelling, enterprise architecture, systems integration, verification and acceptance is highly desirable.

You’ll also need excellent interpersonal skills, the drive to succeed and progress within PA and, ideally, previous experience in one of the following areas: Health and Life Sciences, Transport, Defence and Security, Public Services or Energy and Utilities.
