Job Description

We are looking for Exceptional Agile Transformation Experts, who have helped organisations systemically improve their ability to deliver change at the pace they need to succeed.  Candidates should have experienced  leading teams introducing and delivering highly complex technology-enabled change initiatives using Agile, Lean, Design thinking, Value stream design, DevOps, or Kanban practices.

You will show our clients how to apply Lean Agile principles to their business.  You will have the opportunity to provide coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and/or training services that will ensure the clients achieve their goals.  Potentially you will be able to direct yourself towards being a line manager of other Agile Consultants and/or driving Sales and offerings towards our clients

We have, through client research, unearthed four necessities for making Organizational Agility a reality and to help our clients become ‘leaders of the pack’ *:

  1. Build genuine and unanimous top-team commitment
    • Mandate your vision : The benefits of being prescriptive
    • Lead by example: Do as I do
    • Harness your ‘halo leaders’ : Put the toughest team on the toughest task
  2. Create the conditions for success from the outset
    • Win hearts... heads will follow: Empower your change network to improve organisational flow
    • Access the right expertise: Inject new thinking
    • Measure and speak to your success: Measure first, do later
  3. Cut out the compromises
    • Only accept the best: Follow best practice in the face of adversity
    • Permanent change needs permanent expertise: A permanent body, usually a Central Agility Team
    • Be clear on your non-negotiables: Don’t compromise
  4. Accept that tomorrow’s leaders will be different from today’s
    • Reset your definition of leadership: Be on the lookout for those who focus on customers, time-to-value, and flexibility
    • Enhance know-how with new knowledge: Balance the best mix of new agile skills and knowledge
    • Promote the next generation of leaders (but be prepared for the politics): New leaders can help the old guard

You can easily relate to ‘our view’ above and most likely have your own resonating experiences.
