Job Description

Seeking an experienced Data Governance consultant with hands on experience with MDM and Data Governance tools – specifically Collibra.  In this role, you will directly interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the client program.  You will help translate business needs into data requirements and support our client organizations make better, more informed decisions leveraging quality, trusted data.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of expertise in Data Governance and Data Quality
  • Experience in designing and implementing Data Governance frameworks, operating models, policies, processes and standards
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience across multiple Data Management domains including metadata management, master/reference data management, data quality, data governance and data integration
  • Hands on experience with Data Governance tools: Specifically Collibra.  A plus if candidate also knows other DG / DQ / MDM tools like Informatica EDC/Axon/IDQ, Alation, Talend, IBM and others
  • Experience in working with different stakeholder groups (Data Management teams, Data Sponsors, Data Owners, Data Stewards, etc.) to implement new Data Governance processes and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance systems and security and regulatory polices like GDPR, CCPA a plus.
  • ·Understanding of source and target data systems, DBMS, legacy systems, business intelligence, and messaging concepts
  • Experience in Agile/DevOps project lifecycles
  • Strong written and verbal communication and experience with client facing work.
