Job Description

Responsibilities Include

  • Hybrid Model and a few days home and a few in the office
  • MUST BE LOCAL TO BOSTON
  • Manage several parallel infrastructure projects from instigation through to delivery
  • Work with infrastructure and architecture teams to ensure solutions align with the PA reference architectures and policies
  • Create clear and concise reports as required for both technical and non-technical audiences to demonstrate the effectiveness of the project in question
  • Provide risk assessments of both project and security risks and issues
  • Able to apply financial controls to projects to ensure budgets are understood and agreed
  • Develop time, resource, cost and exception plans for tracking and reporting of project progress and performance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of PM exp
  • Track record of managing a variety of differently scoped projects from both a financial and complexity perspective
  • Knowledge and previous experience of common technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) platforms, networks, and security tooling
  • Superb organisational skills and stakeholder management
  • Project management qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of ISO27001/2 standards and Cyber Essentials an advantage, along with GDPR, HIPAA, SOX.
  • Ability to develop and maintain clear and concise documentation
  • A decision-making process based on a clear understanding of cost, risk, inter-dependencies and delivery of benefit
  • A self-starter, happy to work on your own or as part of a larger team and able to use your own initiative rather than always relying on direction from others
  • Comfortable engaging with a range of stakeholders, both inside and outside of the IT department, to understand the key needs and that projects deliver the required results
  • Understand how to manage scope through configuration management processes (such as planning, identification, control, status accounting, and verification audit). A keen interest in technology and the IT market
