About us

We believe in the power of ingenuity to build a positive human future in a technology-driven world.

As strategies, technologies and innovation collide, we create opportunity from complexity.

Our diverse teams of experts combine innovative thinking and breakthrough use of technologies to progress further, faster. Our clients adapt and transform, and together we achieve enduring results.

An innovation and transformation consultancy, we are 3,300 specialists in consumer and manufacturing, defence and security, energy and utilities, financial services, government and public services, health and life sciences, and transport. Our people are strategists, innovators, designers, consultants, digital experts, scientists, engineers and technologists. We operate globally from offices across the UK, US, Netherlands and Nordics.

Our hybrid way of working is designed to help you plan your work and your life. We want decisions about ‘where to work’ to be governed by ‘the work we need to do’ – whether that’s at client sites, offices/labs/studios, or remotely from home.

We have five principles which will help us balance both creating a high-performance culture that delivers for our clients and the firm, and being understanding and inclusive to individuals, and the teams in which we all work. Our principles are: we put your safety first; we trust PA people; we respect difference; we are responsive to clients and we are responsive to individuals and teams.

PA. Bringing Ingenuity to Life.

Job Description

We’re seeking a storyteller able to work across markets, with data, to equip global leaders with the information and insight they need to thrive.

If you’re looking to work with a purpose-driven company, are passionate about the art of storytelling, and are able to create compelling narratives for business leaders, this is the role for you.

While the foremost skill required is your writing ability for both print and digital content, you’ll also have the opportunity to showcase your talent at interviewing senior stakeholders across the organisation and beyond, ensuring their insight is front and centre of our output. You’ll be partnering with colleagues across Global Marketing and Design Studio to shape and create ingenious written outputs – feeding into their format and design.

You’ll enjoy the rigor of writing to deadlines, and of balancing competing priorities and multiple subject matters at any one time. You’ll have a can-do spirit and a strong sense of curiosity. And you’ll be a writer who’s descriptive, not prescriptive – able to craft clear, persuasive copy.

Reporting to our Thought Leadership Manager, you’ll hold the pen on thought leadership content. While this will primarily involve content for longer-form research reports, it extends through to opportunities to feed into other content types: blogs, and video and podcast scripts, for example.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone able to apply creative thinking to how business trends translate into compelling stories that attract and hold attention. You’ll have at least five years of experience in a content-related role writing content for external audiences. Ideally, you will have experience of a consulting environment.

You’ll be someone who digs below the obvious to tell the stories that matter – and in a way that resonates and aligns with our Tone of Voice guidelines. Working from data supplied by our research team, and from business briefs, you’ll be able to cohere and crystalize multiple thoughts into a single narrative.

You use data and feedback to improve and adapt, and will appreciate that everyone has a view when it comes to content. You’re adept at managing people and projects, and able to work collaboratively with those of different views, ambitions and skillsets. You’ll also have a willingness to apply yourself to a wide spectrum of subject matter.
