Job Description

You will work in partnership PA’s Head of Communities, Jack McMahon, to drive forward a new global strategy for giving back and volunteering across PA’s footprint. This role requires someone who is motivated by making a positive social impact for people from disadvantaged backgrounds as well as leveraging the talent and resources we have available at PA to deliver it.

As part of the team, you will:

Manage a variety of stakeholders including partnering with business teams across PA, leveraging senior support and working closely with charity partners.

Plan and deliver an integrated communications approach to inform, excite and engage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders about our community engagement activities and initiatives.

Be responsible for the collection, reporting and analysis of key community engagement data to demonstrate our social impact, inform ongoing decision making and provide inputs into PA’s annual report

Be supporting the delivery of impactful community engagement programmes globally that combine the talent and expertise of our teams and approaches to deliver projects which has the greatest social impact.

 Manage operational risks involved in delivering and scaling community engagement initiatives including reputational risk, delivery risk, child protection/safeguarding, etc.

Qualifications

You will be passionate about community engagement, social mobility/social impact and supporting the charity sector to thrive.

You will have experience and/or an understanding of ESG approaches and frameworks

You will have experience in delivering a range of community engagement projects from a corporate giving perspective and managed volunteers. Experience of delivering pro-bono initiatives is good to have (not essential)

You will have extensive experience working with the charity sector and working internationally. Experience of the charity sector across the UK, US, Nordics and The Netherlands is good to have (not essential).

Understanding of key ESG reporting metrics relevant to community engagement and measurement of social impact. Knowledge of community engagement metrics and frameworks (such as log-frames/theories of change, etc.) is good to have (not essential)

You will be an excellent communicator and be able to work with stakeholders at all levels, including in matrix / project teams.
