Our Operational Excellence practice works with clients across all major manufacturing industries. The practice works from idea generation and strategy through to implementation on issues critical to the growth and prosperity of manufacturing across the world. Our client’s issues include supply chain strategy, performance improvement, digitalization and technology, cost reduction, globalization, planning, innovation and revenue growth.

You are able to demonstrate career progression with increasing responsibility in a supply chain environment either from within industry (preferably blue chip) or as consultant although high caliber candidate will be considered whatever the background. You will have strengths in; business analysis, problem solving, project leadership and delivery, interpersonal skills as well as commercial acumen, so you are able to formulate and deliver creative, value adding solutions to client issues. You will be degree level qualified, with a 2:1 or equivalent and will have demonstrated a drive for personal and professional progression within your chosen field.

Your practical experience will come from at least one of the following manufacturing sectors:

• Automotive, consumer goods, medical device and pharmaceuticals, industrial engineering, defense and/or aerospace
• Our clients are typically a range of global blue chips, niche market leaders and innovative start-ups across these sectors
• You can demonstrate experience and tangible results:
• At working with all levels in an organization
• Applying your leadership skills on substantial projects or change programs involving significant performance improvement with large teams
• An aptitude for delivering creative solutions
• An appetite to develop new business.

You have knowledge and are able to apply skills and experience across a number of the following supply chain disciplines:

•     Supply chain strategy and operating model
•     Supply chain assessment and transformation
•     Supply chain and manufacturing digitalization and technology
•     Supply chain and manufacturing cost reduction and process efficiency
•     Integrated business planning
•     Procurement transformation

In addition a range of experience across the following disciplines is also of interest: manufacturing operations, supplier relationship management, logistics and warehousing, ERP, sales and aftersales and quality management.

In these areas it is important you can demonstrate the ability to both develop ideas and insights as well as delivering real improvements in business performance.
