Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the in-house early careers team at PA Consulting. Reporting to the Early Careers Recruitment Lead you will focus on delivering a best-in-class recruitment and selection process for our early career hires. You will manage pipelines, events and stakeholder relationships whilst ensuring we are offering an exceptional candidate experience at all stages. This is a critical area that feeds into the firm’s ambitious growth targets and you will have the opportunity to contribute to that growth.

Key responsibilities:

Candidate management

  • Effective use of  Applicant Tracking system including tracking, processing candidates, searching and reporting
  • Management of candidate expectations throughout the process, whilst providing a strong best in class experience

Partnering with the Business

  • Build a strong network internally with various stakeholders across our Market sector and capability areas as well as Talent, Shared Service Centre, Branding, Resourcing, Operations and other stakeholders.  Use this network to keep informed of key issues and priorities in order to provide an excellent service and insight
  • Understand wider business strategy and how this feeds into the Early Careers teams
  • Responsive to the business and it’s priorities. Able to proactively respond and propose relevant ideas and solutions
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and confident to push back where appropriate

Assessment & Selection

  • Understanding and application of of different assessment & selection methods across the early career recruitment market
  • Monitor candidate processes and ensure they are delivering the appropriate and desired outcomes
  • Work to key SLAs and KPIs within the process and adhere to these, monitoring those responsible
  • Analysis of the process to ensure no adverse impact and proactively looking at ways to address this
  • Understand and monitor  candidate time to hire  striving for optimum candidate experience
  • Knowledge of wider Early Careers market and competitor propositions

Partnering with external /  third party suppliers

  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers such as assessment providers, universities and third party partnerships, in conjunction with the procurement team, as required
  • Understand the role suppliers play in the recruitment and selection process and  hold them accountable for their deliver

MI & reporting

  • Produce and analyse management/ pipeline reports where required
  • Manage data appropriately and in line with GDPR regulations
  • Produce ad hoc reports where necessary
  • Comfortable interpreting and reviewing various reporting data

 Inclusion and Diversity

  • Understand the importance of and apply a fair and inclusive process throughout recruitment and selection
  • Call out and challenge any potential adverse impact within the process
  • Understand how to adapt a process for candidates, where necessary
  • Understand the recruiters and assessors are accountable for ensuring there is no bias within our process
  • Monitor and manage process to ensure diversity targets  are achieved

Qualifications

This is a varied role as the firm looks to expand and develop its Early Careers offering. We are looking for someone who can manage candidate pipelines and relationships, is able to forge and build great stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, who is confident with MI and reporting and who can plan and run events both in person and virtually. We are keen for someone who is agile and able to grow and adapt their responsibilities with the role. You should also have a keen interest in Early Careers opportunities including Graduate and Apprenticeships programmes.
