Job Description

Reporting to the Extrusion Supervisor you will be responsible for the granulation process through the granulation bay.

The main specific responsibilities are around the operation of the granulation area machinery.

You will also be responsible for maintaining Health and Safety, hygiene and operational standards in this area.

You will be responsible for the segregation and control of the different polypropylene sheet / formings / flake colours and grades to avoid cross contamination.  It is essential that the resulting flake is correctly identified and the value of the flake is maintained.

As part of the extrusion team you will become an essential member, working with the setters and operators in this area.  You will be expected to operate the compound line and cover any duty as required by the Extrusion Supervisor.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have basic experience of working within a manufacturing environment and have good mechanical aptitude.  You will need to communicate effectively with employees at all levels. 

You should also have basic IT skills and good physical fitness.

The role requires good attention to detail

Additional Information

Av. 42 hrs a week, on a continental 4on-4off shift pattern rolling days (0600 – 1800) & nights (1800 – 0600).  On occasion you may need to work additional hours to adapt to business needs.
