Oxwash is re-engineering the laundry industry from the ground up. Our aim is for clinically clean, net-zero carbon emissions for the whole laundry process. This has never been accomplished and we are determined to be the first truly sustainable on-demand laundry company in the world. We currently operate in Oxford, Cambridge and London, with plans for further growth throughout the UK as well as into the US. 

We are a tech company at heart and have built a suite of proprietary software to power our sustainable laundries and logistics. We are venture-backed, having raised several rounds of investment from notable investors including Biz Stone, the co-founder of Twitter, Paul Forster, the founder of Indeed.com, and Reckitt, the corporate that owns the stain remover Vanish, we announced our ‘Oxwash, powered by Vanish’ partnership in early 2021. We need a permanent, full-time Laundry Supervisor to run the afternoon to evening shift, 11 am - 8 pm, at our sustainable laundry in Cambridge. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic and exceptional attention to detail.

Previous laundry or dry cleaning experience is essential, preferably including finishing high-end fashion garments. This job involves using a steam iron to return garments to their original shape having been through a wet clean process. You may have worked in a traditional dry cleaner’s, or perhaps in a hotel processing uniform or high-end guest laundry.

Required Experience

• 1+ years as a supervisor or manager in a commercial laundry or dry cleaners
• IT confident

Desirable Experience

• Finishing high-end garments 
• Wet cleaning
• Courier or other delivery work
