Company Description

Oxwash is re-engineering the laundry industry from the ground up. Our aim is for clinically-clean, net-zero carbon emissions for the whole laundry process. This has never been accomplished and we are determined to be the first truly sustainable on-demand laundry company in the world. We currently operate in Oxford, Cambridge and London (Battersea), with big plans for further growth throughout the UK as well as into the US. We are a tech company at heart and build our own software to power our sustainable laundries and logistics. We are venture backed, having raised several rounds of investment from notable investors including Biz Stone, the cofounder of Twitter, Paul Forster, the founder of Indeed.com and Reckitt, the corporate that owns the stain remover Vanish. We announced our ‘Oxwash, powered by Vanish’ partnership in early 2021.

Job Description

We are looking for a smart, driven, commercially-minded individual with proven sales ability to join our fast-growing laundry-tech start-up and significantly grow the number of our B2B clients.

We are searching for incredible people with the passion, skills and abilities to deliver our Oxwash mission. Working for a fast-growing start-up is hard, and unlike anything you will have experienced. We need people who can take on the challenge.

This role is aimed at anyone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment with high exposure and the opportunity to gain a proven reputation in sales.

Day-to-day you will be working alongside the founders of the company, and the rest of the team both remotely, and in person at our London, Oxford and Cambridge Lagoons.

You will need to quickly build your skills and company knowledge to enable you to approach potential clients with confidence and creativity, building a substantial base of leads. You are then responsible for nurturing those leads to successfully onboard them to the Oxwash service.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Outbound sales

    • Sourcing and building a pipeline of business through phone calls, LinkedIn, Instagram, Door to Door, and any other channel you can think of to get our brand in front of people creatively!

    • Leveraging contacts within the Oxwash network and developing relationships.

  • Inbound Leads

    • Qualifying inbound leads to ensure Oxwash are a right fit for their needs.

  • Lead Nurturing

    • Using Hubspot Sales Software to nurture leads from cold to warm.

    • Building clear, concise proposals that maximise the business opportunity for Oxwash.

    • Consistently grow the B2B gross profit by achieving targets and signing up new customers.

  • Knowledge

    • You will understand the Oxwash process inside and out, how it works and how to sell it

  • Internal Communication

    • As you will often be on the road at client meetings, it is imperative to have good communication with your line manager to ensure your diary is organised in the most efficient way.

    • We value the expertise of our team, and at Oxwash you will be listened to. If you have ideas, we would love to hear them.

    • You will prepare sales reports to effectively communicate your pipeline and results at weekly and monthly sales meetings.

  • Travel

    • This role will require you to frequently travel between our three lagoons in Oxford, Cambridge and London, as well as have the flexibility to work from home after the probation period is complete.

Qualifications

  • Experience

    • 1-3 years sales experience, or proven KPI success is essential.

    • Experience using Hubspot or similar CRM is preferred, but a willingness and ability to quickly learn these platforms is essential.

    • Tech-savvy with basic software (GSuite, Calendar Management, Excel etc).

  • Personal Skills

    • Friendly and personable with a genuine interest in people.

    • Curious in nature with a keen initiative, if you see a problem or inefficiency, your first thought is how can I solve it/improve it.

    • A loyal team player – a start-up depends on everyone working towards the best interests of the company, always.

    • Proactive with excellent organisational skills – with you, no lead is missed or follow-up not made.

    • Excellent communication, both with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work in a dynamic and ever-evolving start-up environment

    • Must have a full drivers licence and be eligible to work in the UK
