We are looking for an experienced Lead Operation Officer who is committed to making a difference in the construction industry. This key management position is available immediately in our premises in Dietikon (ZH).

With your wealth of experience and expertise, you'll be at the helm of a dynamic and professional team, guiding them with a keen eye for efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. You are familiar with the construction industry and your combination of practical and management knowledge makes you an ideal fit. As a LOO, we expect you to possess outstanding leadership qualities and the ability to creatively solve business challenges.

Your role:

• Collaborating with the founders, you will shape and implement our company vision and operational strategy, determining the staffing needs of the organisation.
• You will formulate and implement specific performance and growth goals, overseeing performance management and annual operational planning.
• Leading the operational business, you will monitor employee productivity and foster an inclusive corporate culture where all team members feel comfortable and work towards common goals.
• You will ensure effective processes in recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management with the aim of long-term employee retention.
• Adhering to legal, regulatory, and internal requirements, you will ensure their company-wide compliance, intervening if necessary.

Your responsibilities:

• You ensure that the operational short and long-term goals and objectives are set and in alignment with the overall strategic direction.
• You improve or implement the processes to achieve technological, and business KPI's
• You plan and oversee the execution of administration, human resources, IT, and logistics
• You will analyse our operational processes and identify areas for improvement
• You develop and implement guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency
• You establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other external partners and stakeholders
• You participate in the acquisition of partners and key customers
• You manage budgets, expenses, and resources

Your profile:

• You have excellent technical, management, and social skills
• You have 5+ years of experience in team leadership
• You are familiar with Start-ups and/or conditions in a growing company
• You can identify opportunities, think analytically, and are adaptable in a fast changing environment
• You understand the construction industry and its stakeholders
• You are known for being a positive influence on your team and a friendly colleague
• You are fluent in German and English
• You are always ready to support the team when needed
