Job Description

To strengthen our admixture innovation team and to reach our business targets, we are looking for a committed personality who wishes to make a difference as Scientific Collaborator.

Starting from now at Oxara in Dietikon (Canton of Zurich).

Your responsibilities:

  • Design, evaluate, and implement new methods for performance tests with excavation materials at laboratory scale.
  • Support the Laboratory Manager with laboratory experiments/results to develop new products formulations and applications.
  • Execution of rheological tests to assess the performance of our admixtures on excavation materials.
  • Writing of protocols and scientific reports

Qualifications

Your skills and assets:

  • Bachelor degree in chemistry, material science or related field preferable with background in clay minerals and building materials
  • Experience in physico-chemical analyses and familiarity with rheological tests on paste and mortar.
  • Good knowledge of reporting, interpretation and documentation of scientific results
  • Self-driven personality, creativity, adaptability towards a rapidly growing environment and good team-oriented working capability
  • Hands-on mentality and a sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Interest in social, sustainability topics and green chemistry
  • Proficiency in English and German, additional languages are a plus.
