Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to design and implement enterprise solutions for our clients. The successful candidate will have proficiency in design and delivery for on-premise and cloud-native architectures. They will be responsible for aligning technology with business strategy, ensuring that investments deliver maximum value to the client organization.
Qualifications
Key Capabilities:
- Demonstrated ability to accurately reflect business needs through enterprise architecture and solution instrumentation
- Show experience conducting peer-led work sessions that take input from stakeholders, business leaders, technical teams and vendors to target work to desired outcomes and define solutions while balancing competing needs
- Experience with authoring and maintaining roadmaps for enterprise system delivery that aligns with the company's strategic objectives
- Work history that includes authoring and championing architectural principles, standards, and guidelines that promote consistency and quality across solutions
- Experience coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to identify and resolve issues and ensure outcome-based delivery of projects
- Show demonstrated leadership and guidance to technical teams in promoting alignment with enterprise architecture strategy and principles
- Background creating policies and processes around effective data management, including governance, quality, security, integration, and warehousing
- Show direct involvement in comprehensive business process analysis and decomposition of complex business and technical concerns
- History of summarizing complex solution considerations to non-technical stakeholders as well as creating presentations and reports that are well-tuned to their respective audience
- Portfolio samples showing how innovative solutions were delivered while balancing the demands of engineering standards against matching to the technical skill level of the teams delivering the solution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience, and with at least 5 years in banking and/or FinTech in designing and implementing enterprise architecture
- Proficiency with concepts and patterns such as Domain Driven Design, CAP Theorem considerations, concepts around system coupling and cohesion, Milky Way modeling, capability and journey mapping as well as C4 Modeling and related exercises
- Recent experience contributing to a code base, using standard-practice .NET solution patterns, preferably in conjunction with a team or open-source project
- Proficiency with both current and legacy Microsoft technology stack, including .NET Framework and Core as well as SQL Server and Reporting Stack
- Demonstrated competencies in delivering solutions that include consideration for elements such as end-user computing, backplane, infrastructure, data, security, as well as cloud-native, on-premise and hybrid delivery models
- Strong business acumen and ability to quickly assimilate newly acquired domain knowledge to align technology with business value
- Experience in navigating large-scale data domain subjects such governance, quality, security, integration, and warehousing
- Strong understanding of both legacy and current software design patterns, and can demonstrate multiple paths to achieve system resiliency on-premise and in the cloud
Nice to have:
- History of public presentation on subjects surrounding complex systems delivery
- Contribution to one or more open source projects
- Experience mentoring individual contributors that led to their increased responsibility, including architecture and systems design
- Certification in one or more public cloud provider based programs
Travel: As needed, up to 20-25%
