Job Description

We are looking for an experienced lending and payments operations leader who will be instrumental in helping us design, build, and scale the Order Capital business here at Order.co.  Reporting to the Chief Business Officer and co-founder, the Financial Products Operations Manager will be responsible for helping to build the Order Capital business, creating and managing new products, innovations and experiments in collaboration with Product, Go-To-Market and Risk/Credit. We expect this person to be hands-on and capable of designing and executing new payments and financing processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, and working closely with the Product team to embed successful experiments into the Order.co platform.  

This role will help craft Order Capital’s policies, procedures, and operational functions to find areas of improvement, optimize operational functions and set service level expectations. This individual will develop and help roll out new financial products, payment services, backend automations, policies, and best practices.  We are looking for people who are self-starters, comfortable working in an unstructured environment, inquisitive, personable, and looking to help shape the future of B2B Fintech. This role directly impacts new customer revenue, existing customer growth, and overall company strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and help roll out new financing products, payment services, backend automations, policies, and best practices.  
  • Work cross-functionally with Revenue, Customer Operations, Finance, and Product teams to execute on projects and plans
  • Develop and implement short- and long-term solutions that directly impact growth and scale of the payments business
  • Define and build new processes that support financial products innovation in all areas of the company
  • Identify opportunities to iterate, optimize, and automate our financial products operations
  • Track and monitor revenue and efficiency metrics associated with Financial Products, reporting out to Executive Team and the entire company
  • Use your understanding of payments (interchange, ACH, FX) and financing (interest, fees, etc)  product structure and revenue streams to clearly and concisely present complex concepts to stakeholders throughout the organization 
  • Track blockers you can’t remove and objections you can’t beat so that you can give feedback to the Product team and the Leadership team for inclusion in the Product Roadmap

Technical Skills

  • Experience designing, scaling, and maturing one or several of:
    • a domestic B2B card issuing and/or ACH payments business
    • an SMB lending / financing business
    • an international B2B payments business
  • Analytical and focused on data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to seamlessly navigate between high-level strategic and hands-on tactical work
  • You possess strong communication and presentation skills and are able to effectively collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
  • You take pride in your focus on best practices, process improvement and automation
  • Familiarity with procurement and accounting software not required but is an advantage

  • The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $100,000-$120,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
