Job Description

As a Technical Project Manager you will work in partnership across teams and departments to create an experience that strengthens the relationships with our customers by promptly addressing issues and leading projects that continuously improve the level of service they receive. You will have an opportunity to make a significant impact on the upmarket growth of our business as we continue to grow.

What you'll do

Leadership

  • Inspire and motivate your team

  • Define and measure success for your team

  • Facilitate planning meetings, standups, and retrospectives

  • Address impediments or blockers escalated by the team

  • Identify problems, define solutions, and implement efficiency improvements

Technical Expertise

  • Become an expert on the technical aspects of our core product and enterprise integrations

  • Communicate the technical aspects of product and integration issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Prioritize and respond to reported issues in a systematic and transparent manner

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and investigation from technical and non-technical perspectives as needed

  • Assist with monitoring and maintenance of legacy integrations

  • Create referenceable SOPs and technical workflows 

Project Management

  • Meet with customers and internal stakeholders to align on priorities, analyze issues, and scope projects

  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements for projects

  • Manage the execution of project plans to ensure their success

  • Monitor project progress,  proactively communicating status and blockers

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to remove blockers

  • Coordinate multiple projects across multiple internal & external teams

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience leading teams and technical projects 

  • Expertise in project management processes, strategies, and methods

  • Experience successfully managing relationships with enterprise customers

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others

  • Familiarity with software development practices, APIs, and cloud computing 

  • Previous experience in a React, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, AWS environment is a plus

  • Excellent verbal & written communication as well as a knack for complex problem-solving 

  • Able to keep a cool head under pressure and bring problems into perspective for others

  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising teams

  • Ability to predict challenges and proactively address them
