Job Description

An accomplished professional services leader with a distinguished background in operations who has also demonstrated tangible success in developing cross functional and high performing teams.  The VP combines strategy and analytical acumen with practical business and operational experience to drive continuous process improvement for Optiv’s security services integrator (SSI) business.

The VP is responsible for leading a range of pre and post sales operational functions that ensure the success of our services organization including Resource Management, Project Management (both internal and client-facing), Services Contracts, and Proposal Management.

Expectations:

  • Develop and execute the delivery strategy for Services Operations excellence as an SSI
  • Empower Optiv’s Services Operations team, with direct reports and over 200 employees
  • Lead the Project Management Organization to ensure that PMs are effectively managing services engagements delivering projects on-time/budget and with high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with finance organization to continuously evaluate and update services pricing to ensure that Optiv is staying competitive within the market and managing to its margin targets
  • Drive key initiatives for the services organization working cross-functionally with sales, partners, marketing, and finance
  • Partner with the IT organization, providing business requirements on key projects and prioritizing the backlog of work to correspond with services priorities
  • Executive interlock with the FP&A team to provide services leadership with reporting, metrics and actionable insights that are critical to driving success of business
  • Lead service contracts execution to ensure that SOWs are in compliance with Optiv’s terms and conditions while being protected from a risk perspective
  • Ensure efficiency within the resource management team to assign the right resources, and minimize lag between signing of SOW and project kick-off

Qualifications

  • Proven executive leadership in Professional Services operations inside a high-growth industry
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to deliver insights and drive action
  • Experience running large project management and/or professional services teams of greater than 200 employees
  • Strong organizational and communications capabilities (i.e., must be able to listen, understand and manage in a matrix organization)
  • Experience leading change, developing processes, implementing procedures and working collaboratively across organizations to achieve desired outcomes
  • Exceptional project management, planning, organizational communication skills, and ability to scope prospective engagements, evaluate pricing, develop proposals and project plans
  • Bachelor’s degree
