Job Description

Who we are seeking: 

Optiv is seeking a direct-hire Senior Consultant to work in the Digital Access Management practice as a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Consultant with a focus on CyberArk. This individual will have experience with the deployment, architecture, and best practices in regards to the CyberArk suite of products. The Senior Consultant - CyberArk will be responsible for owning PAM projects that include assessments, upgrades, and initial deployments.

You will make an impact by:

  • Working with a Project Manager to organize client and internal kick-off meetings
  • Taking detailed notes during meetings and identifying project risks
  • Deploying the CyberArk Suite of products including:
    • Vault
    • Privileged Session Manager
    • Application Access Manager
    • Privileged Threat Analytics
  • Performing discovery audits and presenting findings to client management
  • Creating project deliverables
  • Contributing to the Center of Excellence’s improvement by making suggestions

Qualifications

The optimal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the following:

  • Deployment and best practices in regards to the CyberArk suite of products.
  • CyberArk Application Access Manager (AAM), Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA), and architecture design experience are a definite plus
  • LDAP
  • Familiarity with network devices and architecture
  • Understanding of user access, authentication, and authorization
  • Windows Server OS installation and deployment
  • Windows Remote Desktop
  • Understanding of Unix/Linux command line operating systems
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and analyzing data
  • Willingness to travel as required. Generally work-from-home when not traveling. The amount of travel will be dependent on the engagement, but it is likely to average 30%-35%, with up to 50% or more at times. During the current COVID-19 period, any client travel must be approved on a case-by-case basis by Optiv Management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to upper management and C-level clients
  • Strong project management skills
  • Desire to learn the security methodology as it applies to Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Training/Certification:

  • CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CCDE) certification is strongly desired
