Who we are looking for:

We're looking for individuals with a foundation in Data Science looking to further their knowledge of Data Fabric solutions through training and working alongside an accomplished team of experts to assist in maintaining and troubleshooting Data Fabric deployments at the systems or software level. Driven to further their Data Fabric knowledge through training, certifications and hands on work.  The individual will be key to ensuring our clients success by supporting this highly collaborative team environment.

• College degree or/equivalent with at least 2 years of related work experience, required
• 2+ years of systems engineering/administration experience with Data Fabric solutions consisting of one or more of the following operationally deployed in cloud or on-premise environments:
  • Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana/Beats) clusters
  • Databricks
  • Streamsets
  • Swimlane
  • As well as other technologies
• 2+ years of experience with Data Fabric support and trouble-shooting architecture, design and deployment.
• Ability to maintain and troubleshoot Data Fabric environments at customer sites in the cloud and on-premise instances
• Experience providing support around Data Fabric integration with customer data sources and applications
• Understanding of software design as it relates to distributed computing / system architecture
• Experience with scripting (i.e. JavaScript, Groovy, Python, Bash, etc.) and working from the command line in a Linux environment
• Experience using an automation/orchestration solution such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt, etc.
• Familiarity with data indexing concepts
• Experience with SIEM technologies and managing suite of tools to include Splunk Enterprise Security, QRadar, HP ArcSight and/or LogRhythm
• Experience with enterprise architecture and working as part of a cross-functional team to implement solutions
• Driven to further knowledge and expertise in Data Fabric solutions through training and certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated
• Technical writing experience
