Job Description

We are looking for a Director North America Digital Sales who will be responsible for leading our “Digital” segment -- companies with less than 2500 employees across the US. As a leader within Sales, you will drive key initiatives to achieve Digital ACV objectives.


  • Hire, onboard, coach and develop a Digital Sales Manager and a team of Digital Account Executives

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual Digital ACV target

  • Manage accurate team forecasts

  • Develop/coach Account Executives on productivity metrics such as ASP, close rate, and forecast accuracy, running a successful sales cycle

  • Spend time in the field with prospects and customers to drive executive alignment in deals

  • Partner with x-functional teams (ie Marketing, Services and Technical Account Management) to achieve business goals

  • Embody Optimizely’s cultural values and lead by example

  • Be a key contributor to Optimizely’s sales strategy and execution

Additional Information

  • 5+ years previous management experience required

  • 5-6 years of overall sales experience required

  • Experience leading people managers

  • Previous management experience preferred

  • You have demonstrated a successful track record as an individual contributor and can share relevant and complex closing experience with a team new in their selling career

  • You have successfully provided mentorship and coaching to colleagues and/or individuals you’ve managed

  • Proven track record as a strong negotiator

  • Highly analytical

  • Experience using Salesforce and Clari.

  • Market knowledge: experience with Digital Experience Optimization and A/B testing solutions is a huge advantage
