Optimizely is looking for a content marketing leader to help drive our thought leadership and content strategy. With experience in creating branded digital content that’s thought-provoking and impactful, this senior content creator will shape the experiences across many digital touchpoints. This role will elevate our digital presence by working closely with internal and external thought leaders, customers, and partners to develop original and compelling thought leadership content across multiple channels.
Build a content function and drive cross-functional content strategy across the different segments of our business
Work with a team of outsourced writers and freelancers to generate content that engages with marketers, product teams and developers
Write original thought leadership and content on multiple platforms and formats, including ebooks, infographics, blogs, and more
Proactively source content from executives across the business including marketing, product, and services
Partner with various marketing teams including, but not limited to, demand gen, product marketing, customer marketing, and public relations
Collaborate with 3rd parties including partners and thought leaders on joint content programs
Develop content style guidelines for brand consistency
Maintain a content calendar and provide project reporting on all content activities
Establish tools and process for storing and managing content assets
4-8 years experience writing and editing content of all types, especially within a B2B technology business
Have an editorial mindset and ability to anticipate content that will have high engagement
An affinity for data and analytics
Enjoy a creative brainstorm for idea generation
Works well in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Digital marketing campaign experience
A BS/BA degree or higher, preferably in English
