The Data Analyst role will provide analytical support and a strategic perspective to our internal partners throughout the organization. As a data expert, you will define metrics and deliver insightful data and analysis. You will use this analysis to make informed recommendations to these stakeholders, helping to drive important business decisions. You have a strong technical and quantitative analysis background, an exceptional ability to distill and communicate complex data.
What you and your team will be doing:
Own KPIs and business dashboards, using SQL, to enable performance management.
Analyze and understand trends and drivers, as well as business risks and opportunities to produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders that will help drive effective decisions.
Gather and consolidate detailed financial, operational, customer and transactional data to assist departments in understanding measures of business performance.
Partner with individual departments and executive management on strategic projects and ad-hoc analyses that contribute to growth and development.
Develop board level analyses and help prepare presentations for investors and BOD decks.
Support the continuous development of strategic planning initiatives and long-range planning.
Required skills and experience:
Excellent SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets and building detailed business dashboards.
Expert modeling (Excel) and scenario analysis skills.
BA/BS degree and 3 - 5 years of experience in data analysis.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
