Job Description

We’re looking for an awesome Executive Assistant to support our CEO and our Co-Founder/Executive Chairman. As a core member of the Executive Support team at Optimizely, you will directly support our CEO, Co-Founder/Executive Chairman day-to-day and partner closely with the other Executive Assistants to provide proactive and strong operational support to our broader executive team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the schedule, business travel, offsites, expense reporting and day-to-day responsibilities of our Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder/Executive Chairman. This position will facilitate meetings, offsites and occasional events and requires someone with a keen ability to prioritize many tasks across multiple functions.

Success in this role means keeping our CEO and Co-Founder/Executive Chairman focused on the most business critical opportunities and ensuring they makes deadlines and hit goals all while promoting company values and maintaining high team morale.   • Heavy calendar management - you’re a Google Calendar ninja!

  • Arranging extensive executive travel, both within the US and internationally

  • Proactive meeting support: taking notes, devising agendas, deriving action plans and following up with all attendees to reinforce the meeting purpose, outcome and expected responses/actions

  • Prepare and maintain extensive expense report records

  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and presentations including quarterly leadership offsites and weekly all-hands meetings

  • Partner closely with the other Executive Assistants and stakeholders to maintain high office morale


  • 5+ years of experience working with a senior executive, preferably a CEO, at a quickly-growing company (SaaS company a plus!)

  • Outstanding communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; demonstrable initiative, creativity, and flexibility

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay cool under pressure!

  • A can-do “make it happen" attitude: you are comfortable making decisions with little supervision or direction and you learn and adjust quickly

  • Fluency in Google products (GMail, Docs, Slides, etc.) as well as familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).

  • People love to come talk to you! You feel completely comfortable interacting with people through all parts of the organization, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
