Marketing is at the heart of establishing Optimizely as the clear leader in the market and attracting new customers to our platform, so we’re looking for a passionate, experienced Brand,Creative, and Web leader that can drive programs, data driven analysis, and help us create a great digital strategy for the business.
This is a highly visible role, reporting to the CMO with the ability to make a significant impact on our business. You are passionate about helping customer drive 5 to 500% improvement in their digital business outcomes, you are dedicated to bringing Optimizely’s product to life through our brand, our website, and our online footprint.
As part of the global marketing leadership team, partner with the Marketing leads to own our brand design and execution across our global territories. This includes the need to provide a shared services model for brand execution, including consistent visual language, written tone and online execution.
Work closely with the other direct reports to the CMO to ensure that a variety of activities, assets and interactive activities are done in a manner that are consistent with our brand promise
Ensure/govern that we have consistent brand guidelines across all internal and externally facing assets by creating and publishing known brand guidelines, asset samples and visual language snippets.
Own our website execution to ensure that we have a powerful interactive brand image and enterprise caliber presence in the market. Support the demand gen, product marketing and international team to ensure optimization of SEO, translations and local versions of Optimizely.com. With the Website Program Owner, Web Developers and Engineering teams, evolve our website architecture in 2017 and beyond for scale, reliability and performance.
Continue to build and evangelize the Optimizely-on-Optimizely story. Showcase our platform. Deliver tailored experiences to the hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors to educate, enthrall and convert their interest into action on Optimizely.com
Build, empower and manage a high performing web, optimization, online marketing and design team so they thrive in their roles.
With the remainder of the team, establish standards in reporting for the health of the web.
15+years of progressively advancing web, design and digital identity experience
5+years of direct team management experience
Understanding of web technology, strategy, usability, and content
Experience working with enterprise content management systems (Teamsite, Documentum, Alfresco, Fatwire, content.ly) and static web sites.
Experience managing the company’s visual identity. You’re used to working closely with branding agencies and designers to set a high bar for design and maintain consistency.
Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and motivating high-performing teams. Proven ability Experience in a B2B organization, leveraging the web property as a demand-generation engine
Highly experienced in Salesforce, Marketo experience preferred
Experience in managing budgets and vendors, strong project management skills and ability to manage a busy pipeline of requirements
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead by example and achieve extraordinary results. Strong internal communicator and collaborator. High energy, self-directed, team player
