Summer 2018 Engineering Internship
- San Francisco, CA, USA
Summer 2018 Engineering Intern Job Description
Optimizely is the world’s leading experience optimization platform, providing website and mobile A/B testing and personalization for the world’s leading brands. The platform’s ease of use and speed of deployment empowers organizations to conceive of and run experiments that help them make better data-inspired decisions. Optimizely meets the diverse needs of thousands of customers worldwide looking to deliver connected experiences to their audiences across channels. To date, those customers have created and delivered more than 700 billion optimized visitor experiences.
As an intern, you'll do everything that a full time Optimizely engineer does! You'll collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers; build new features on existing code and ship them to customers; fix bugs; read and write design docs; and attend standups and team lunches. And you'll also get to participate in our summer Hackathon.
You'll join a team that works on one of the following: the customer-facing product (frontend and backend), SDKs, application infrastructure, and business systems (data warehousing/pipelines & analytics).
You'll also get 1:1 mentorship experience with an Optimizely engineer who will make sure that you thrive at Optimizely.
What's it like for interns who work at Optimizely?
We treat our interns like full-time employees: your opinions and ideas matter here and can shape the way we build things. Interns have worked on a number of impactful features and products that have made it to the hands of our customers during their summer.
More than shipping code, though, we host offsites for the intern class; in the past, we’ve been to Giants games, escape rooms, and Benihana.
