Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity available for an energetic and proactive Talent Acquisition Consultant (blue collar) with extensive knowledge and industry expertise in the Mining, Infrastructure, and Facilities Management sectors for a 3 month contract with our Global Client based in Perth. 

You will provide high volume, high quality, customer focused talent acquisition, assessment and selection expertise. You will be responsible for the process of finding, assessing and hiring the most suitable talent.

Your focus will be on the end-to-end candidate and hiring manager experience through development and provision of professional talent acquisition support. You will be passionate about helping people flourish and achieve their career goals. 

Your focus will be on the provision of the following: 

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their business and hiring needs
  • Provide positive and meaningful candidate care through personal attention and proactive communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Be committed to providing exceptional customer service with a proactive “push” approach, rather than a reactive “pull” being required by hiring managers or candidates 
  • Be a hands-on talent acquisition specialist, adept at managing the full end-to-end recruitment cycle, not afraid to roll your sleeves up  
  • Bring an innovative approach to sourcing talent 
  • Implement initiatives for critical talent pipeline development 
  • Be flexible in your approach and willing to pitch in to all areas of the talent acquisition function
  • Ensure reporting and tracking systems are optimised and accurate 
  • Provide regular stakeholder reporting on activity, pipeline and mobilisation forecasts 

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed: 

  • A strong passion for people and delivering sustainable, fit-for-purpose outcomes 
  • High energy, discipline, resilience, self-motivation and results oriented approach 
  • Strong candidate and hiring manager focus and ability to influence at all levels 
  • Experience within the Mining, Infrastructure and Facilities Management sectors 
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources related field is desirable but not essential

To be considered, you must have full Australian work rights and be based in Perth, Western Australia.
