Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity available for a high energy, Talent Acquisition and Mobilisation Administration professional for a permanent role with our client based north of the river.  You will have extensive knowledge and industry expertise in the Mining, Infrastructure, and Facilities Management sectors.

You will thrive on working in a fast paced environment to provide high quality administrative and mobilisation support to the Talent Acquisition function. 

You will be responsible for complete ownership of the end-to-end mobilisation and onboarding process for new employees with a strong focus on candidate and hiring manager experience through the provision of your professional administrative support.

You will:

  • Provide positive and meaningful candidate care through personal attention and proactive communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Be committed to providing exceptional customer service with a proactive “push” approach, rather than a reactive “pull” being required by hiring managers or candidates 
  • Be a hands-on Talent Acquisition Administrator, adept at managing the full end-to-end administrative requirements associated with the recruitment cycle, and not afraid to roll your sleeves up 
  • Ensure that the Applicant Tracking System is optimised and accurate to support future activity and building of talent pipelines for future roles
  • Coordinate the recruitment process for new employees: including advertising, reference checking, verification of work rights, verification of qualifications, pre-employment medical bookings, security clearances, travel, and onboarding
  • Keep up-to-date with recruiting requirements, standards and processes for each of the Business Groups, Business Lines and functions
  • Organise Assessment Centre sessions
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and streamline the recruitment process
  • Ensure compliance with the Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation

Qualifications

What you will need to succeed: 

  • 3+ years relevant Talent Acquisition/ Recruitment Administrator experience - preferably within the Resource sector
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources related field is desirable but not essential 
  • High energy, discipline, resilience, self-motivation and results oriented approach 
  • Ability to work autonomously, self-manage and use initiative
  • Competent computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
  • Ability to multi-task jobs simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with all relevant stake holders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be process oriented with high attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Resilience under pressure, ability to identify priorities, learn quickly and adapt to new problems and situations
  • Positive can-do/ proactive attitude
