Identity and access management (IAM) deals with how users within an organization are given an identity - and how it is protected, including saving critical applications, data and systems from unauthorized access while managing the identities and access rights of people both inside and outside the organization. As a financial firm, Oppenheimerfunds (“OFI”) places strong values on that protection, while providing the ability to enable our user base. In this role, you will include day to day operational aspects, as well as providing solutions on improving existing processes to create an overall successful identify program with appropriate controls and integration.
You will help drive authentication and authorization standards for internal and external processes, including all the various business units to guide them in implementing the correct solutions for their needs while adhering to the firm’s corporate standards, policies and best practices.
Work closely to Cyber Security and other organizations to define and evaluate and update policies, standards and solutions for enterprise and business use.
User access changes; provisioning, de-provisioning, access level changes, etc., Maintenance of IAM technology infrastructure, Managing application and user-store integrations, application access, etc.
You will interfacte effectively with Help Desk, Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Applications, and user population
Handling exception requests, including coordination of approvals, user communication, etc.
Future integration of applications with the IAM infrastructure; i.e. reporting, entitlement reviews, Upgrades, patch management of IAM infrastructure (currently RSA Identity Management & Governance “IMG”)
You will audit interactions to include documentation of processes, providing examples, and education of internal and external participants of process and risk
Participate in building a strategy, vision and road map for attaining effective and efficient identity and access management controls
Solid IT and technical background; (i.e. systems, operations, security, etc.) coupled with an understanding of business process and operations
4+ years experience in related IAM skills/field: (i.e. provisioning and workflow, authentication and entitlements, role based access controls, data privacy, and IAM solutions - i.e. RSA IMG)
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Collaborative and strong communication skills. Customer focused mindset.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, anticipates issues and deals with them proactively
- Bachelor’s degree in IT Systems or Computer Engineering or relevant experience
- Regulatory compliance knowledge would be beneficial
- SQL scripting experience
