Open Scientific provides contract staffing and direct hire recruitment services for the scientific, engineering, laboratory and manufacturing sectors.

Salary: $20 to $28/hr

Shifts: 1st and 2nd available

We are currently looking for experienced Bottling Mechanics to join an ever growing organization. Qualified candidates for this role are detailed oriented, results driven, and team oriented.

This is a direct hire opportunity starting at $20-28 an hour

Responsibilities include:

Must have experience with Bottling Machines to be considered

Troubleshoots, assesses and repairs most manufacturing/facilities issues in a timely manner without supervision

Interprets blueprints and schematics

Basic to advance knowledge of electrical circuits and PLCs

Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance

Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines

Ability to build and rebuild certain components for machines (i.e. bearings, pumps, etc.).

Skills:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Experience working in and around mechanical equipment, preferably in a food/pharmaceutical/environment

Knowledge in tableting, compounding, and/or blending a plus

3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment
