Job Description

OpenAligned, a Mulesoft delivery and enablement organization, is seeking a Mulesoft Solution Architect to work with and learn the latest Mulesoft technologies and design and development techniques.  We deliver the most modern Mulesoft solutions to our clients and are inviting Mule Experts to work with our team.

The role offers partial remote work with occasional travel (all expenses paid) to client sites working with our delivery teams.  The Solution Architect will be involved throughout the project; starting from kickoff to final presentation, to provide deliverable continuity and consistency.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in project kickoff and architecture review sessions.

· Review requirements, participate in sprint planning and develop prioritized backlog of the services to be implemented.

· Determine best practices for implementing the services.

· Implement services per agreed upon sprint schedule.

· Deploy to pre-production environments and assist with production deployment.

· Perform knowledge transfer activities.

· Define and ensure adherence to architectural best practices and guidelines.

· Deliver summary of the engagement and final recommendation at targeted project stages.

· Provide coaching and mentoring to technical staff as required.

Qualifications

·         Minimum of 5 years experience working with Mulesoft technologies.

·         Minimum of 10 years overall software design and development experience.

·         Experience with solution designs on Mulesoft implementation projects.

·         5 years core Java development experience.

·         Mulesoft Certified, Mulesoft Fundamentals, Advanced is highly preferred.

·         Experience with Mulesoft 4.

·         Mule CloudHub

·         Mule API Gateway

·         MUnit or other frameworks

·         Experience publishing and or consuming content/code to Mulesoft Exchange.

·         RAML/APIKit experience

·         DataWeave experience

Additional Information

Additional Responsibilities

•             Provide solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.

•             Provide technology assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.

•             Work with application developers, users, operational leadership, and subject matter experts to understand current and future operational data analysis goals. Recommend modern technology stacks to meet those goals and help engineering teams migrate towards their use.

•             Collaborate with the customer's operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization, and design a technical architecture to meet those goals. Participate in configuring the architecture, and advise engineering teams on its efficient use.

•             Act as a team lead, or subject matter expert, on components of the work plan/project, and manage them as needed.

•             Utilize analytical, process, and/or technical skills to meet project objectives and deliverables that are self-directed and within project scope.

 

Additional Qualifications

•             4+ years of experience working with Integration Solutions and a minimum of 4 years with Mulesoft product Suite.

•             Hands on experience with Mule 4 with both on-premises servers and CloudHub.

•             Experience with full project life cycle, requirement analysis, design, development, test and support.

•             Experience in developing enterprise services using API Modelling Language, REST based APIs, XML, SOAP, WSDL, RAML.

•             Deep understanding of web technologies, MQ, JSON, XML/XSD, and SQL.

•             Hands on experience in large scale SOA design, development, and deployment.

•             Experience with API management technology.

•             Strong experience in Java programming languages.

•             Experience in Continuous integration and Continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT, SVN.

•             Experience with common enterprise security protocols Core Competencies and Attributes.

•             Self-motivated with high energy, strong technical and organizational aptitude.

•             Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with leadership capability.

•             Must be able to work independently to meet deadlines.

•             Eagerness to contribute to a team oriented environment.

•             Mulesoft Certified Developer or other Mulesoft Certification required.
