Ferrovial Construction Canada Inc. and VINCI Construction Grands Projects are undertaking the design, build, and finance the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel (South Civil) package.
As Ontario Transit Group, we are now mobilizing our design and construction crews, with major works. The South Civil contract is anticipated to be completed in 2030.
The project will strengthen Ontario’s economy by supporting an estimated 1,500 jobs at the peak of construction.
What is the project?
- A six-kilometer tunnel and associated tunnelling works from Exhibition to Don Yard portal (west of the Don River).
- Stations:
- One above-ground station to be integrated with the existing GO Transit Exhibition Station.
- Two underground stations to be integrated with the existing TTC Osgoode and Queen subway stations.
- Four new underground stations (King/Bathurst, Queen/Spadina, Moss Park, Corktown).

Job Description
Scope Of Work:
- Receive, issue, handling, inventory of goods for Site Store (Warehouse)
General:
- Ensure high standard of safety at any time.
- Accountable to maintain and preserve the tidiness and organization of the storage area.
- Define, in coordination with the Site Super the needed items and quantities.
- Prepare the Stock Request Form then submit to Dalux for approval by the Site Super or Station Manager.
- Liaise with OTG Main Store for the delivery of goods and have the necessary records on file.
Operations:
- Complete the daily briefings to ensure teams understand the task and risks of activities.
- Check all deliveries and issuance of goods.
- Ensure the quantity and the quality of the goods are in line with documentation and/or Purchase Order.
- Receive and handling of goods i.e. consumables, tools, lubricants, and others.
- Dispatch the goods from the specific storage location or on the yard.
- Issue and documentation of all outgoing material from store to final user.
- Ensure inventories are correct and there are no discrepancies (over or shortage) of material.
- Follow-up all site stock.
- Perform inventory regularly (as per company procedure & standards).
- Assist Site Super in other duties as deemed necessary.
Reporting:
- Reports to Store/Warehouse Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledgeable of basic construction procedures, tools, and consumables.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction warehouse
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel & Vlookup
