OneVest is an exciting FinTech company on a mission to reinvent wealth management. The company has built Canada’s first embedded wealth management platform and has recently raised $5M in seed funding from OMERS Ventures, National Bank, Luge Capital, FJ Labs and others. Through its comprehensive Wealth-as-a-Service offering, enterprises can expand their product offering to include wealth management via OneVest’s mobile or web applications and our Partner Portal (e.g. a Shopify Partner Portal).

As a Product Designer, you will work with product managers, customers, business stakeholders and engineers to define, shape, and deliver a multitude of experiences across various digital platforms. You will help with concepting, prototyping, service design, information design, and research.

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive fantastic user experience of the feature and products from conception to launch in partnership with Product, Engineering, UX Research, Strategy and other teams

• Take broad, conceptual or complex ideas and turn them into an incredible SaaS product experience for Canadian investors

• Hands-on UX/UI design in all stages: Discovery, design end-to-end flows and experiences by creating process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that are simple and elegant

• Create, organize, update and contribute to our design system library for new and existing products 

• Gather feedback from the broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for quality

• Work on pitch decks, website and general design needs at a high growth startup

• 2+ years of professional hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications for digital products

• Prototyping skills and proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

• Fluency in principles and techniques of information architecture, systems thinking, and user experience design

Bonus Experience:

• Experience working with design systems is a strong asset
