**This role is in office in Northbrook, IL**
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Be responsible for the final preparation of design assets for development, including redline specs.
Aggregate multiple client requests and suggestions into generalized client needs to drive development.
Create user stories, groom, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog with the development and Customer Care team to build the platform in an agile manner.
Define acceptance criteria and attend definition meetings and represent the customer to the development team.
Develop and enforce a standard’s UI guide across all platforms.
Lead the product release process and coordinate the release of new features with customer care, sales and development to align with the go to market strategy. We win or lose as a team. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
Drive end-to-end interaction design: collaborating with development in the design of the information architecture and define the user navigation interactions with-in the product
Present concepts, facilitate brainstorm sessions with Customer Care and developers
Work with product marketing and the research team to understand our customer needs. Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends.
Work closely with leadership to perform implement the company strategy.
Web design: design and prepare files for usability testing
In order for you to be successful in this position, you have
4-5 years of UI/UX experience in a technology company, preferably in an agile, B2B SaaS company.
Fluent in wireframe, responsive design, mobile/tablet UI UX
The ability to work autonomously. You are able to define your own work priorities and processes.
The ability to write clear product specifications, build wireframes, conduct customer interviews and perform market research independently.
The ability to be embedded within the development team
The ability to handle multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adjust as needed.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to deliver on commitments. You do whatever it takes to deliver.
Flexibility & willingness to work with remote global teams in multiple time-zones. Occasional travel may be required.
