We do this by identifying and activating influencers, creatively collaborating with the media, creating and promoting content, and engaging social channels where buyers congregate. We create trust and convert that trust into sales leads.
Job Description
We are seeking a seriously awesome person to join our team. If you know how to live the startup life: early mornings, late nights, weekend jam sessions, and don’t mind the hustle of a good challenge, then consider this opportunity.
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily client relationship management (first point of contact, manages all correspondence),
- Facilitating Onboardly’s three-stage process for customer acquisition and visibility,
- Manage workflow and client expectations, including leveraging internal resources to produce results,
- Overseeing/editing/providing feedback to approximately 30-50% of the above-mentioned posts, delegating/scheduling the remainder,
- Preparation of all client meeting agendas, weekly and monthly reports,
- Facilitation of all client meetings, calling upon team as needed to compliment verbal reports & ideation,
- Facilitation of client approvals on content marketing initiatives, while supporting approvals on PR and social media initiatives,
- Work with 3rd party vendors when necessary,
- Daily delegation (reminders!) of responsibilities among team members,
- Suggest improvements to the Onboardly process where appropriate,
- Contribute to the ongoing Onboardly Operations Manual,
- Self-management on all ongoing deliverables indicated in the Onboardly Methodology,
- Research & identification of opportunities to promote Onboardly and our clients in non-traditional means.
Activities may also include:
Contributing to Onboardly blog, Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn presence & other social media sites and communities,
Sharing Onboardly & Client content via personal social channels on a daily basis to help encourage distribution,
Contributing to any relevant webinar series, remarkable content development, and other inbound marketing activities,
Given the nature of a startup, your marketing responsibilities will change from time to time, and may include managing other aspects of the marketing activities of the company organization, including quality online advertising & viral marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
You must be:
• An expert at getting things done on time and to a high degree of efficiency, • A people person and brand enthusiast for Onboardly’s process,
• Agile and can change plans/direction at the drop of a dime,
• Awesome, fun and love the startup life!
You should have:
Experience within a client service role that produces and exceeds goals consistently,
Experience in a startup environment, if possible,
Evidence that you are a top producer (as defined by references, production results, etc.),
2-7 years of client services experience within a web technologies or marketing agency
environment,
The ability to manage and exceed client expectations,
Experience working with small business owners, startup founders, marketers and executives,
The ability to advance the vision of the company,
Tons of energy, passion, humour and enthusiasm,
Street smarts (as defined by the ability to triage priorities, handle crisis and manage client
expectations),
A powerful work ethic.

- Head office is in Atlantic Canada though we are open to remote workers as well.
- Starting date: Immediately
- Salaried position (Based on previous experience. Negotiable)
