Job Description

In your role you will join a team with a proven track record of driving ARR hyper growth and successful exits, to build out and own the product management function to help the company reach its growth objectives. More importantly, you’ll be tasked with helping us accelerate our team’s ability to build product features that help us win and retain more customers who see significant benefits from our platform's ability to produce & manage live, virtual or hybrid events, increase their ticket sales, save them time, and elevate the stature of their theatre with their audience and in the community. Our technology, agility, and go-to-market expertise allowed us to drive new customer growth at a triple digit rate during a time when most of the Arts industry was shut down.  We’re just getting started!

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a deep understanding (i) who our customers really are, (ii) what it means to win in our market, (iii) how to differentiate as a product and company, and (iv) how to build compelling and remarkable products for our customers by fostering best in class UX and design 
  • Build out or refine the company’s product management processes needed to:
  • Define and actively manage product requirements and communicate with the engineering team to ensure clarity and quality of deliverables.
  • Create and drive product roadmaps including the prioritization and execution in collaboration with cross functional teams across business
  • Partner with key stakeholders across our company and our customers to capture detailed requirements, test hypotheses, and enable adoption and support.
  • Execute launch plan (including owning the launch calendar, pre and post-launch testing, internal training, customer comms, support processes) in conjunction with product marketing, sales, customer success and operations.
  • Create and integrate qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and market insights into product requirements, roadmaps and strategies.
  • Continuously deepen customer insight and empathy to understand the relevant pains and gains associated with their jobs and identify opportunities for value creation.
  • Establish, report on and execute against KPIs for product performance to drive adoption and usage, retain customers, drive recurring revenue and propel profitability.

How You Will Execute the Role

  • Communicate project status and timelines effectively to both internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis. 
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Development and Leadership teams to discuss deployments in the past month, ongoing projects and future considerations.
  • Monitor, respond to and interpret product feedback in our product insights repository (Asana).
  • Work daily with the development team in all phases of product development: ideation, design, development, and product rollout.
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation, project plans, guides, and tutorials.
  • Oversee a small team including Product & Design team members to aid in delivering on your objectives

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of product management experience in a SaaS or B2B2C Marketplace company or related role.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
  • Prior experience, certification or training in Agile/Scrum or other equivalent formal software delivery philosophies. 
  • An outcomes over output approach to product management.
  • Experience in prioritizing feature requests and challenging institutional thinking.
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Good eye for UX and a good understanding of wireframing, user interaction and visual design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Asana, Jira, and Miro is a plus.
  • Deftly navigating a path down the middle between business and technology to find the best win/win solution.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Business Management, or Related Field
  • Prior experience managing a team of people in successfully executing a Product Roadmap
  • Bonus if you have a background in or a strong interest in the Performing Arts Industry and/or box office, ticketing or a related live events space.

    • Our home office is smack in the middle of the theatre district in midtown Manhattan.  However, we have a well balanced team of professionals coast to coast and support flexible work,  hybrid and WFH models depending on role.
