Job Description

Position Summary:

Onsite care is seeking an Entry Level Accountant. This position reports directly to the Senior Accounting & Finance Manager.

Responsible for general accounting duties as assigned

  • Prepares and processes billings, disbursements and related documents; reviews invoices, or other documentation; checks accuracy of figures; codes authorizations, exceptions, discounts, taxes, etc.
  • Prepare and/or process documents; review for accuracy and completeness; update information and/or evaluate against policy; compare elements for consistency or logical relationships, etc.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Reviews documents and reconciles discrepancies; makes needed adjustments.
  • Enters data into a computer system and retrieves, corrects previously entered data.
  • Receives, researches and responds to incoming questions or complaints; provides information, explains policy and procedures, and/or facilitates a resolution.
  • Writes or drafts correspondence, reports, documents and/or other written materials.
  • Documents accounts receivables and/or payables.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of computer spreadsheet software
  • Ability to use accounting and/or financial computer systems. 
  • Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in either written or electronic form. 
  • Establish, organize and/or maintain files. 
  • Use basic/business math to solve problems. 
  • Operate office equipment. 
  • Communicate information and ideas clearly, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing.
  • Deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate, problem solving and have good organizational skills.
  • Exhibit exactness and attention to detail

 Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of Quickbooks. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.   
  • A/R, A/P experience
  • Payroll processing experience
  • Associates Degree
