Job Description
OnActuate is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team. We are looking for a versatile marketing professional who understands the Software services and B2B market, who is an exceptional writer, and who is comfortable in digital marketing.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to wear many hats and take on new challenges. Our ideal candidate is resourceful and comfortable working independently, while still being able to take direction and complete tasks efficiently. They are meticulous in their approach, understand the operational side of marketing, and truly care about the end-product and our brand. The Marketing Manager will be an excellent communicator and is comfortable in collaborating across teams. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing, and an understanding of software and related services for Microsoft Business Applications and Dayforce in particular. This is a hybrid role based in the Minneapolis area.
We are also accepting applications from candidates residing in the Vancouver, Canada area.
The salary starts at $75,000 per year and is based on experience.
Where you will create impact:
- Write engaging copy for social media posts, promotional emails, blogs, and other marketing collateral
- Support marketing campaign planning and execution, including webinars and event sponsorships
- Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
- Manage marketing content on internal SharePoint sites
- Monitor, analyze, and help improve website analytics, social media metrics, and other key performance indicators
- Support business development activities for sales leads
- Pitch our press releases to key journalists in the industry
- Assist in SEO and SEM related activities to expand our inbound marketing efforts
- Participate in trade shows and events as needed to assist the sales teams with logistics and lead generation
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing
- Knowledge of computer software services, management consulting, and the digital landscape, with experience related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform suite and Dayforce HCM suite solutions being preferred
- Knowledge of public sector and manufacturing markets is beneficial
- Ability to work with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube)
- SEO/SEM optimization knowledge
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with AI tools for marketing technology
- Resourceful, self-starter who is comfortable seeking out information
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills, with impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport and foster positive business relationships
