Job Description

Years of experience: 3-5

We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented team member to serve as our Employee-Inspired Giving Program Manager. Reporting to the Senior Grants Administrator and supported by an Employee-Inspired Giving Program Associate, this person would provide day-to-day management of the Employee-Inspired Giving Program, including:

• Internal and External Customer Service: this person, along with the Employee-Inspired Giving Program Associate, will be a primary point of contact for 16,000+ employees and thousands of nonprofit donation recipients via Chatter, email, and phone, and will be skilled in customer service and written and verbal communication.

• Grant Review and Administration: the Employee Engagement Team creates opportunities for employees to volunteer in their communities, and the Employee Giving Program Manager would support any related grants. This person would input and review grant requests for eligibility within our guidelines, and would pull together a monthly grant docket for approval.

• System Administration: Salesforce Foundation has an internal system, Volunteerforce1, where employees request donations and log volunteering hours. The Program Manager will monitor the Employee-Inspired Giving functionality of Volunteerforce and liaise regularly with the Foundation Tech Team to make feature requests and fix bugs.

• Payment Processing: this person will work closely with the Finance team to prepare monthly files of donations that need to be processed, both domestically and internationally. The Foundation handles domestic payments in-house, and international payments via two third-party charitable organizations.

• Industry Best Practices: as the face of the Employee-Inspired Giving Program, this person should be comfortable making connections with peers in the corporate giving space, and will prepare a yearly benchmarking presentation to share with internal stakeholders. This person will also make recommendations to shape policy, systems, and internal processes to align with industry best practices in employee giving.
