Job Description

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water resources services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a Senior Engineer, you will serve as lead project manager for the team, focusing on project execution, winning repeat work, and managing key client accounts. You will also support marketing and business development efforts, supervise/direct professionals and technical staff, and promote efficiencies in producing quality work.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to lead an engineering design team in completing technical tasks
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of related water resource design experience
  • At least 4 years of experience serving as a project manager
  • Must be an Arizona-licensed professional engineer (or can obtain a license within 6 months)
  • Experience in preparing and evaluating hydraulic and hydrologic models using SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or other relevant modeling programs
  • Passion for detailed work
  • Desire to lead and mentor junior engineers
  • Desire to serve as lead project manager for water resource engineering design projects
