As an Applied Technology GIS Coordinator, you will support the organization’s applied technology service area in providing reliable, innovative solutions, and excellent technological consultation and support. This position will focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and will help establish guidelines to develop solutions. You will partner with technical staff to execute valuable software support and effective training to help users efficiently operate technological programs. 

You will run testing on hardware and/or software, work with design teams to produce GIS services, coordinate training activities, assist in the development of GIS standards, and work to promote the growth of GIS at Olsson.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our North Kansas City, MO, Omaha, NE, Lincoln, NE, Springfield, MO, Denver, CO or Oklahoma City, OK office locations.

You bring to the team:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• 3 + years of experience preferred.
• Associate degree in computer aided drafting and design technology or a related area preferred.
• Experience with GIS is required.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Technical expertise in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online Mapping and Applications, ArcGIS Enterprise, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite.
