Job Description

*Olsson currently has one opportunity for a Business Development Senior Specialist. Candidates can live any where in the United States and work remotely. Travel would be about 50% of the time.

The Telecommunications Program at Olsson is a dynamic, multi-discipline operation which exists on a national basis. As a Business Development Senior Specialist for Telecommunications, you would serve as the leading representative for Olsson in the Telecom marketplace to actively cultivate relationships with identified key clients, strategic partners, and partners for purposes of accelerating growth. In addition, you will interpret internal or external issues and develop solutions to ensure business development programs and projects meet the team’s overall objectives. Other responsibilities include staying abreast of changes in the business development environment, partner with marketing and client experience resources to create and communicate intelligence information, and interpret best practices, internal, and external information to create effective solutions.

  • Previous experience in project management and client management
  • Specialized expertise in Telecommunications business development
  • Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a business development role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communication, public relations, or related field is preferred
