Job Description

As a Senior Rail Construction Manager, you will provide overall leadership and technical support to the team by serving as lead staff member and advisor, providing high-level technical oversight of complex projects, assisting with marketing, proposals, supervising staff, and leading quality assurance and quality control for projects. You will also review contracts, promote efficiencies in producing quality work, and assemble technical resources for the team.  You will strive towards the ultimate goal of providing project delivery to our Class I rail clients through project oversight, management of field staff, and driving the schedule to ensure on-time completion of projects. This role will handle project assignments and staff supervision within multiple states with approximately 25 - 50 % travel anticipated for work with the majority of time spent in the Texas region

You bring to the team:

  • Experience completing and managing rail construction, track, and maintenance projects
  • Experience and understanding of FRA standards and requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or other related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the rail or consulting industry
  • At least 4 years of experience supervising technical personnel
  • Ability to travel to project sites across the US to coordinate with staff and clients
