Job Description

As a Stormwater Compliance Inspector with our Colorado Environmental team, you will perform inspections on oil and gas (O&G) and construction projects in and around the Front Range area to confirm compliance with federal, state and local regulations. You may work in all types of terrain and weather conditions and there is a potential for weekend work in response to storm events.

You bring to the team:

  • Stormwater Management and Erosion Control Certification
  • Construction experience or working knowledge of general construction practices and trades
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with Visio and /or Bluebeam software
  • Three to five years of experience in an environmental engineering, water resources, stormwater inspection, or similar position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, ecology, biology, water resources, engineering, or related subject
  • Additional years of relevant and/or applicable experience may be substituted for degree
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Ability to interact with various types of team members, including clients, regulators, contractors, and third-party contractors in a professional and positive manner
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk on uneven terrain

Typical hourly range for this position is $25 to $32 an hour, and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
