Job Description

As a Survey Crew Chief, you will perform quality checks, basic engineering design duties, and data processing and analysis. You will assist in the performance of field work and serve as the survey party chief or construction observer. You will also travel to job sites at different stages of completion and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.  The ability to travel and stay overnight is a requirement for this position as we have a number of statewide and national clients you will be supporting.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Registered as a Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or 4 years of experience working with a licensed surveyor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation
  • Some construction experience is helpful
