Job Description

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will work with technical teams to prepare proposals and interviews for engineering and design projects. In addition, you will work on coordinating marketing materials, maintaining and populating the marketing Vantagepoint database and conducting internet research. You will have the opportunity to support business development including organizing and attending conferences as well as involvement in industry organizations.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans and executes the development of information and/or materials to be included in various marketing activities such as SOQ's, proposals, and interview presentations according to the firm’s standards.
  • Establishes, communicates, and meets deadlines for timely completion of project pursuits.
  • Perform internal QA/QC reviews to maintain a high level of quality and/or accuracy in all marketing information, analysis, and/or documentation.
  • Works closely with technical staff (local and remote) to execute effective strategies for project and client-specific marketing efforts with limited direction.
  • Gathers, maintains, and analyzes client intelligence information.
  • Assists in the identification of target markets and potential clients and strategies to build relationships with those clients.
  • Ability to prepare and submit industry awards.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Plano, TX, Overland Park, KS, Lincoln, NE, Omaha, NE or Denver, CO office locations. Olsson offers a hybrid work environment and supports a blend of office and work-from-home options.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Writing/Journalism, or related major
  • Minimum of 3 years of related A/E industry experience required
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple, high-priority tasks with strict deadlines
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams that sit locally in your office as well as in other offices within the Olsson footprint
  • Ability to develop and foster effective professional relationships internally and externally
  • Skilled in technical writing, editing abilities, creativity, and a keen sense of design style
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and Adobe InDesign
