Job Description
Joining Ollion as a Data Insights Intern means diving into impactful projects immediately—partnering with our consultants and clients to architect and deploy powerful data-centric results. Embedded within our elite Data & AI practice, you will contribute to crafting and refining the agile, cloud-centric architectures that drive true organizational evolution. This experience is designed for ambitious learners who refuse to settle for the status quo and are ready to tackle complex business hurdles with innovative technology.
Job Requirements
Active Consulting Engagements: Work virtually and hybrid with clients across the United States on active consulting engagements to understand and document business and technology requirements.
Pipeline & Modeling Development: Collaborate with the team to implement scalable ELT/ETL pipelines, cloud data warehouse structures, and dimensional data models using production-grade SQL methodologies.
Data Analytics & Visualization: Design and implement intuitive, enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and semantic models using tools like Power BI to drive data-driven decision-making and client analytics strategies.
Coding & Automation: Learn and utilize SQL and Python for data manipulation, workflow automation, and pipeline orchestration.
Cloud Orchestration & Tools: Gain hands-on exposure to modern cloud-native data tools and orchestration environments, specifically focusing on Azure Data Factory alongside other cloud ecosystems.
Data Security & Governance: Partner with project leads to understand and enforce rigorous security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC).
Documentation Excellence: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for data flows, schemas, and operational processes to ensure long-term clarity.
Industry Exposure: Acquire deep domain exposure across diverse client industries, including healthcare, retail, insurance, manufacturing, and beyond.
Continuous Learning: Shadow senior Ollion consultants across delivery functions to rapidly master cutting-edge, cloud-native technologies, keeping pace with advancements in modern AI, DataOps, and the broader cloud ecosystem
Qualifications
Academic Standing: Rising senior entering your final year in Fall 2026.
Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
Technical Core & Tooling: Foundational knowledge of database and SQL development practices, with a strong practical interest or experience in cloud-native data tools such as Azure Data Factory.
Power BI Capability: Familiarity or proven classroom/project experience designing data visualizations, dashboards, and semantic models specifically within Power BI.
Scripting Foundations: Practical curiosity or baseline experience using Python for script automation and dataset parsing.
Architectural Awareness: Basic understanding of ELT/ETL architectures, dimensional and relational data modeling, version control via Git, and modern CI/CD principles.
Professional Strengths: Strong written and oral communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, and core attributes like accountability, adaptability to shifting business needs, and an innovative mindset.
Drive: Genuine curiosity and a relentless drive to learn new and unfamiliar technologies.
