Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation, setup and maintenance of event spaces
  • Assist with event decor setup as needed, ensuring consistency with event aesthetics.
  • Attend monthly team meetings, as requested by our client, to share insights and provide actionable feedback.
  • Collaborate daily with workplace team members.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of event menu items
  • Respond promptly to guest requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner
  • Deliver food & beverage to the appropriate tables as directed by the Management team
  • Monitor daily cuisine patterns to track the popularity of menu items
  • Collect data to identify high-demand dishes and recommend adjustments to the menu accordingly.
  • Ensure attention to detail in food preparation, signage, presentation, and overall cleanliness.
  •  Respond promptly to any operational issues or service challenges, providing quick and effective solutions.
  • Communicate efficiently with the workplace team and the O&B managers to address concerns or feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and comply with all food safety regulations.
  • Monthly reports detailing cuisine data insights and menu recommendations.
  • Feedback and improvement suggestions shared during team meetings
  • Demonstrate a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor when interacting with employees.
  • Strive to create a welcoming and positive experience for everyone.
  • Additional duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

  • Monday to Thursday availability - 7:30am to 4pm 
  • Minimum 2 year serving experience (preferred)
  • Valid Smart Serve Certification a requirement
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
