Job Description
Our Bartenders are more than drink makers—they’re engaging hosts with expert knowledge of food, wine, and spirits. Known for their showmanship, attention to detail, and strong guest connections, they often become the highlight of the event. With speed, precision, and personality, they craft each drink to perfection while ensuring every guest request is communicated and delivered smoothly. If you love great drinks and even better vibes, this role is for you.
The Day to Day:
- Crafts high-quality drinks with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
- Warmly welcomes guests, creating an engaging and energetic first impression
- Maintains strong situational awareness, anticipating guest needs and supporting team flow
- Offers confident recommendations on cocktails, wine, and beer, demonstrating solid menu knowledge
- Applies expert knowledge of spirits and mixology, sharing engaging stories and fun facts when appropriate
- Builds strong guest rapport, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning
- Ensures accurate order-taking, manages tabs efficiently, and coordinates seamlessly with the kitchen
- Personalizes service for special occasions and dietary needs, with careful attention to allergies and preferences
- Collaborates effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management for smooth, coordinated service
- Works with purpose and urgency, even during peak service hours
- Maintains the bar’s organization and readiness, checks stock levels, supports inventory, and ensures cleanliness
- Willing to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Smart Serve certification required
- Proven experience in event service or hospitality
- Excellent food and wine knowledge and ability to describe
- A passion for guest service and creating memorable moments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
